Dear Flag Families,

First off, thank you for supporting NLPA flag football and your loyalty over the years. It has been crazy and trying times for all of us. We have been trying to hold out in hopes that we could manage to have a fun, safe space for our kids to get back to the sport they love sooner than later, but with the recent announcements by federal, local government and public health professionals, it appears this is not going to be possible.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of NLPAFFL Spring 2020 Season. As such, we will be offering families the ability to transfer their Spring fees for a Fall 2020 credit or Spring 2021 credit.  Any decision to diverge from our existing policies can have significant financial impact to our program both current and future. It is our hope that you will respectfully consider the financial livelihood of the program you children participate in and in lieu of a refund, perhaps request a credit for a future season instead.  Our processing form link below will provide families with multiple options to choose from.

As we adhere to social distancing, state and government guidelines, we continue to operate in various ways, moving and updating our website to a new and improved registration platform, implementing certification programs for coaches and creating scholarship opportunities for players and our High School referees (who are moving onto college in the fall).

To begin processing please fill out our processing form Please note: NLPAFFL will build a tracking system and will honor your selection at any time up until but no later than 5/20/20.

Please stay safe and healthy - we look forward to seeing you on the field as soon as we can!

Regards

NLPAFFL

Hi Members.

We sent out an email and also posted updates on our website regarding postponing the season until May. We are awaiting to hear what local government officials will do over the next few weeks. In the meantime, we are in contact with our website and 3rd party billing company to get things ready in case there is a cancellation of the season and also have them prepare their systems to compensate our families who decide not to continue with our program.  To help facilitate this matter, we will send a notification email with a survey form attached.  You can also check for updates on our website (Spring season updates tab). We have also added a drills, videos and exercises for the entire family to enjoy together (Player resource tab). So please visit our website @ www.nextlevelpa.com, and thank you for your continued patience during this difficult time.  Please you and the boys stay safe during this time

Please remember that our program has been postponed until May.  During this time we are carefully monitoring the current situation and will provide updates on the website (Spring Season Updates).  Please continue to be safe.  During this time, we have developed some virtual learning flag football drills and exercises for our members.   Players can access our drills and exercise by going to the Player Resource tab on our website. The tab will have a main page and access to two additional pages with drills.  On the Player Resource main page, we will add documents each week (starting Monday, we will add to Running game Skills) by topic.   To get access to each skill, just click on the box on the players resource page.

We have also added the following for our parents and coaches:  Each page has a number of sub pages.

Hello NLPA Family:

Based on the recent reports from Government officials, that they will revisit the probability of reopening the school systems toward the beginning of May. NLPA Flag will await these findings prior to announcing any further steps as it pertains to the resumption of play for the Spring 2020 season. Currently as it stands, by pushing back the start date this will not affect the end date as stated during the registration process.  NPLA board members will be meeting to discuss adding a free local tournament in addition to the spring season.

NLPA flag understands how important this program is to its student-athletes and will do whatever possible to ensure the spring season is played to its completion, while remaining in compliance with state guidelines set forth by the Department of Health and maintaining the health and safety of our communities as our top priority

We are strongly encouraging everyone to adhere to the guidelines, especially those regarding social distancing. In the meantime, we will still move forward with drafting teams. Thank you greatly for your patience and understanding in these unusual times.

We will also begin our virtual learning next week on the following:

1.    Coaches manual/Code of Conduct

2.    Parent manual/Code of Conduct

3.    Rule Book and Video

4.    Flag football Exercises and Drills

5.    Flag football Plays

6.    Flag football educational videos

While student-athletes are getting settled into their new routines, the flag football virtual videos will also help in keeping them active and adding some change to their new routines.

Again, thank you for your continued patience during this time.  Pleas continue to be safe and responsible.  If you have any questions, please contact us.
